EPL: Ronaldo discusses Man City move with Guardiola, agrees on personal terms

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Juventus forward, has agreed to personal terms with Manchester City, putting him one step closer to joining the Premier League winners.

Ronaldo has already discussed the transfer with Pep Guardiola, according to The UK Independent.

Should City and the Serie A heavyweights agree on a deal, the 36-year-old will earn upwards of £250,000 per week.

On Thursday, Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, traveled to Turin to meet with Juventus officials to discuss the player's future.

The Italian club is said to be eager to have Ronaldo off their payroll.

Tottenham's Harry Kane was City's top target this summer.

However, their pursuit of Kane came to a stop on Wednesday, when the England captain issued a statement pledging his future to Spurs.

Guardiola and City set a British transfer record when they paid £100 million to Aston Villa for Jack Grealish earlier this summer, but they have struggled to find a replacement for Sergio Aguero, the club's all-time leading striker.
